Lawrence Brin is an underwriter in MidCap’s Real Estate Lending group. Prior to joining MidCap, Mr. Brin was a member of the real estate underwriting team of Merrill Lynch Capital Healthcare Finance. Mr. Brin also worked as an underwriter in the structured finance group at CapitalSource Inc. Mr. Brin began his career practicing corporate law at the New York law firm of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP.

Mr. Brin holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. Mr. Brin holds a B.A. with Honors in English from the University of Michigan.
