Bob Goodridge is MidCap’s General Counsel. Prior to joining MidCap, Mr. Goodridge led the legal teams for Merrill Lynch Capital’s and GE Capital’s healthcare finance units. Mr. Goodridge has also worked as senior counsel for Heller Healthcare Finance where he led the UCC Revised Article 9 conversion efforts and was a partner specializing in finance, real estate and corporate law in various law firms. Mr. Goodridge was also senior counsel for The St. Paul Insurance Cos. life insurance business unit where he authored and worked with the Maryland legislature to adopt modernized investment laws for life insurance companies.
 
Mr. Goodridge holds a J.D. with High Honors from George Washington University and was a member of the George Washington University Law Review. Mr. Goodridge also holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Virginia.
