Steve Silver is an originations officer for Midcap’s Asset Based Lending Group.  Prior to Midcap, Mr. Silver served as the President and Founder of AutoFinance Partners, LLC , a national sub-prime auto lender.  Prior to AutoFinance Partners, LLC, Mr. Silver was Chief Marketing Officer of CapitalSource Inc. (NYSE:CSE) where he managed the branding, PR, internal communications and advertising activities.  He also implemented and managed the cross-selling efforts for the company.  Prior to CapitalSource, Mr. Silver has held various senior executive positions with GE Capital Healthcare and its predecessor entities, Heller Healthcare, and Healthcare Financial Partners.

Mr. Silver holds a B.S. in accounting from State University of New York at Albany and is a licensed CPA in New York.
