Mr. Levin joined Apollo in 2015 and is a Managing Director in the Lender Finance Group. Prior to joining Apollo, Mr. Levin served as President of MidCap Financial’s Structured Finance business, having been appointed to that role in 2014. From 2008 to 2014, Mr. Levin held numerous roles at MidCap, including serving as MidCap’s Chief Strategy Officer from 2012-2014. Prior to joining MidCap, Mr. Levin was a Vice President in the healthcare real estate platform for Merrill Lynch Capital. Prior to Merrill Lynch, he held various positions in Arthur Andersen’s global corporate finance group. Mr. Levin holds a BS in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.

Joe Mattina joined in August 2013 as a Managing Director at Apollo Capital Management and is part of the Apollo and MidCap Leveraged Finance & Financial Sponsors Group where he is responsible for originating and structuring senior and junior financing for companies in Canada and the US. Based in Toronto, Mr. Mattina has over 17 years of experience in finance. Previously, Mr. Mattina was a Managing Director at Macquarie Bank and Fortress Investment Group, in addition to earlier roles at GE and KPMG Corporate Finance. He began his career as an Accountant at KPMG. Mr. Mattina graduated from McMaster University with a Honors Bachelors of Commerce, Minor in Economics, Finance & Accounting.

Mr. Cheng joined MidCap Financial in 2016 and is a Managing Director in the Lender Finance Group. Prior to joining MidCap Financial, Mr. Cheng served as a Director in the Structured Finance Group of Deutsche Bank AG. Mr. Cheng joined Deutsche Bank in 2004 and held numerous roles, most recently being responsible for originating and structuring asset finance and securitization transactions backed by esoteric assets. Mr. Gettmann joined MidCap Financial in 2015 and is a Managing Director in the Lender Finance Group. Prior to joining MidCap Financial, Mr. Gettmann served as a Director and Co-Head of Capital Markets in the Lender Finance Group of AloStar Business Credit. Mr. Gettmann joined AloStar Business Credit at its inception in 2011 and played a significant role in the growth of both the ABL and Lender Finance businesses. Prior to joining AloStar Business Credit, Mr. Gettmann was a Vice President in the Structured Products Group at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey. His responsibilities at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey were primarily focused on structuring and monitoring specialty finance transactions for its $10B multi-seller asset backed commercial paper conduit and executing term ABS transactions for a variety of issuers. Mr. Gettmann also spent 2 years structuring and executing CLO and CDO transactions as a principal business for SunTrust Robinson Humphrey. Mr. Gettmann holds a B.S. in Business Management with concentrations in Finance and Information Technology from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Mr. Gettmann is also a CFA® charterholder.

Sarah Steele joined MidCap in 2015 as a Director in the Lender Finance Group. She is currently in charge of the portfolio management for the business line. Prior to joining MidCap, Sarah spent seven years as a Senior Account Executive for Wells Fargo Capital Finance managing a portfolio of ~$1.4bn in commitments for their Lender Finance Group. This portfolio included a range of assets, including large agented and broadly syndicated transactions. Sarah began her career as a consultant in the bankruptcy and turnaround arena working for Arthur Andersen, KPMG, and finally Mesirow Financial Consulting. This included work for both secured and unsecured creditors along with debtors. Sarah holds a BBA in Finance from Texas Christian University and currently resides in Dallas, TX.
