Andrew Lavinder is a Managing Director in the Real Estate Lending group covering both Commercial and Healthcare Real Estate. Mr. Lavinder is responsible for managing all aspects of the underwriting process including sizing, credit analysis, legal documentation, and closing.
Mr. Lavinder is active with the National Investment Center for Seniors Housing and Care (NIC) and served on its Future Leaders Council (FLC). Prior to joining MidCap Financial, Mr. Lavinder worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in their Financial Instruments, Structured Products, and Real Estate group. Mr. Lavinder is a graduate of Virginia Tech with degrees in economics, finance, and a minor in international business. Mr. Lavinder is also a CFA® charterholder.
