Andy McLay is a Managing Director in the Commercial Real Estate group of MidCap Financial, where he is responsible for sourcing senior debt transactions in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern United States.
Mr. McLay joined MidCap Financial in 2015 and has over 28 years of experience in the commercial real estate finance industry. Prior to joining MidCap Financial, Mr. McLay was a Senior Director for GE Capital Real Estate North America Lending platform, where he was responsible for structuring and underwriting debt investments across GE’s structured and CMBS platforms. In addition to his role in North America Lending, he was the Program Manager for GE Capital Real Estate’s Tax-Exempt Bond Program until 2001. Prior to joining General Electric in 1997, Mr. McLay was an Associate at LaSalle Investment Management (formerly LaSalle Advisors) working within the Asset Management group. Mr. McLay holds an MS in finance from the Sellinger School of Business at Loyola University and received a BS in finance from the University of Maryland at College Park.
