Bernard (Bernie) Lajeunesse is a Managing Director and head of MidCap Financial’s Franchise Finance business unit that provides senior secured financing solutions to franchise operators and franchise brands.
Bernie has ~40 years of diverse lending experience in various business sectors. Prior to MidCap Financial acquiring the Franchise Finance platform in 2019, Bernie led the Franchise Finance businesses at PNC Bank and ECN Capital/Element Financial, and previously led the formation of United Business Capital, a division of Bank United.
Bernie received an BS in finance & management from LaSalle University and is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program (AMP 170). He serves on the Board of Trustees for Christ’s Home, an organization providing an array of life-enhancing services to adults and youth.
