Chris Spence is a Vice President in the Real Estate Group, where he is responsible for managing all aspects of the underwriting process, including loan sizing, credit analysis, legal documentation, and closing.
Mr. Spence joined MidCap in 2022 to support healthcare real estate sourcing efforts, including senior housing and medical office, and transitioned to the underwriting team in 2025. Prior to joining MidCap Financial, Mr. Spence was a consultant at Deloitte in its Capital Markets and Securitization Advisory group, where he focused on commercial mortgage-backed securities.
Mr. Spence holds a degree in finance and accounting and a minor in operations from Indiana University.
