As Associate General Counsel at MidCap Financial, Daniel is involved in the structuring, negotiation, documentation and management of loans and investments made by the Financial Sponsors & Leveraged Finance group. Prior to joining MidCap Financial, Daniel was an equity partner in a multistate law firm headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, where he represented lenders in connection with asset based lines of credit, leveraged loans, out-of-court restructurings, and debtor-in-possession and bankruptcy exit financings. Daniel attended Vanderbilt University Law School and holds graduate and undergraduate degrees in public administration and political science from the University of Kentucky.
