Will Gould leads the front-end operations of several product groups and has primary responsibility for MidCap Financial’s strategy formulation and implementation.
Mr. Gould heads the sourcing and underwriting platforms and serves on the credit committees for a wide range of loan products and industry verticals including Asset Based Lending, Life Sciences & Technology Venture Lending, Franchise Finance and Entertainment Finance. Prior to co-founding MidCap Financial, Mr. Gould created and ran the life sciences venture finance platform at Merrill Lynch Capital and managed the underwriting teams for healthcare asset based lending at Merrill Lynch Capital and GE Capital. Mr. Gould began his career practicing law in the corporate and securities group of Hogan & Hartson. Mr. Gould holds a BA in philosophy from Haverford College and a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law.
